Configuring the Mail Program on the MAC

Step 1

Once you have mail started  you should see something like this. Click Mail then preferences


Step 2
Now find the plus sign at the bottom of the accounts screen.


Step 3 Now enter your full name and email address and finally your password, then click continue

Step 4 
If you would like to use IMAP all you should have to do is change the account type to IMAP
 Now fill in the incoming mail server username and password. Note that your username is your full email address. Click continue.


Step 5 Now fill in the outgoing mail server.  Click continue and you are done! Make sure the Use Authentication box is checked.
